German language abilities improve applicant’s chances of being accepted into top American colleges as well as getting a job at one of over 3,500 German companies in the US. While German is the most widely spoken language in Europe, only 0.6% of school and college students learn it in America – and that’s why speaking German is a sure way for your child to stand out from the crowd! The presenters share where and how children and adults can learn German in New York City, presenting a range of opportunities from early childhood programs and preschools, a German dual language class at an elementary school to an an exciting new program “Study Bridge” that prepares American high school students to study at top German universities tuition-free.
